2. Ask your vendors how long specific things will take during your day! How long will hair and makeup take? How long will the ceremony be? Are you doing a first look? Answering these questions will help tremendously when you start having to plug in times for different things!
3. Give yourself EXTRA time throughout the day! Wedding Days are crazy and a LOT of the time things will run late and the last thing you want is to feel rushed and behind, this is why when I am writing a timeline for a client I ALWAYS give myself lots of cushion for things to run late so that my brides NEVER feel rushed.
4. Consider a First Look!! First looks have so many benefits and one of them is taking the stress away from the craziness of the day. Being able to see your partner before everything begins gives you a moment to take it all in TOGETHER. Not only does it give you good time together, but it allows you to get all of the photos you want together before the ceremony. This way you don’t have to stress about squeezing in every photo you want in between the ceremony and reception while your guests wait for you to finish! This is one of THE biggest stress relievers to a wedding day timeline.
5. Hire a good Wedding Planner! Wedding Planners are absolute angels when it comes to planning a wedding day, making sure all of the moving parts are working correctly and then executing all of it once the day is here. Wedding Planners not only help you with anything and everything leading up to the day, but they alleviate all stress off of you on the day of so that you can simply ENJOY your day.
