I started this retreat during the worst burn out I have ever had. I didn't LOVE my job anymore and I felt alone - and I don't want anyone else to feel like that. I want to be there alongside you whether you are burnt out or just starting out and help provide you with the confidence, community & content to find JOY in your job again and chase your dreams without fear.
This retreat is to help you create amazing content to attract your dream clients… yes. But it’s so much more than that. It’s a time to take a break from the pressure of clients, deadlines, & timelines and just CREATE for the sake of creating again. It’s about surrounding yourself with a community that GETS it and is right there with you. Let’s go back to why we all picked up a camera in the first place - because it fills us up with JOY. Let’s have FUN again - because being a business owner capturing everyone else's memories is hard sometimes. & we deserve a break to make our own too. Whether you’re starting out and don’t know what to do or you’re burnt out and don’t love it anymore. Let’s throw some margaritas at it and find joy in all of it!

I have been a photographer for 10 years and been doing weddings for 8 & I shoot elopements and destination weddings. I started Styled Wild 2 years ago and my favorite part is finding sweet community and meeting so many amazing women. I am from Texas & a fun fact about me is that I can probably quote the entire movie She’s The Man.
I’m a Texas girl born and raised but know live in the colorful state of Colorado. I have been photographing weddings for 5 years now and had the pleasure of meeting Meg at my first workshop years ago. A fun fact about me is that my husband and I live on the family ranch, and spend our down time checking cows and living the country girl lifestyle!

I I met Meg through social media and watched her build Styled Wild from scratch and absolutely love being a part of it. If you’re thinking of investing in your business and wanting to go on a retreat, definitely go on one of Meg’s Styled Wild Retreats!!! She meticulously crafted each shoot and you can tell how much planning and detail went into everything. She truly cared about our experience and giving the best retreat she possibly could!! I love how intentional she was in her interactions with me and the other attendees. The mood boards and description of the retreat you see are exactly what she promises to give. We had the perfect amount of downtime and shoot time that made this trip fun, rejuvenating, and all around amazing! I’ve been to other retreats but Meg’s tops them all off by far! I not only gained many new photographer friends, but also came home feeling excited and refreshed to pour back into my business!!

Meg did an INCREDIBLE job putting together this content retreat. From the beginning, she was quick to answer any questions I had, all of her moodboards she created were detailed and accurate to what she promised. When arriving in Palm Springs, are accommodations were STUNNING and so comfortable. All the food was delicious too and she even made us a super cute welcome dinner with gifts and guides! Every shoot she set up was incredible and highly thought through, she had a whole design team plan everything which really leveled everything up. The content I left with was MAGICAL, and unique in every way and there were many different story telling aspects which I loved. We also had a good amount of down time too where we got to rest and hang around Palm Springs. Styled Wild is amazing and I would 10/10 recommend it to anyone and would totally go again!

This is my second time attending Styled Wild and I can not say enough great things about not only the shoots (which are all incredible) but also the community aspect that comes along with this retreat. The models and shoots themselves are so well thought through with so many special touches to help create a unique experience specific to that retreat and its location. The free time to spend chatting with all the other attendees, as well as with Meg, Emily, and Reagan was such a highlight between movie nights & hanging in the pool. If you're looking for a community based retreat with awesome styled shoots, you will not regret attending Styled Wild!

Right from the start Meg and her girls made you feel important and showed they wanted this experience to help you grow not only in your work but friendships. They made these experiences come to life that I don't think would have happened without their help. They created magical sessions and made sure to include any and everyone within the shoots and back at the cabin. They included other ideas and helped put many visions come to life. I couldn't thank these girls enough for putting on this retreat and can't wait to join them again in the future!
